FRSC LAGOS TO BEGIN CLAMPDOWN OF OKADA/TRICYCLE AND DISPATCH RIDERS WITHOUT VALID CLASS A DRIVER'S LICENCE

The Sector Commander FRSC Lagos Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide has directed that all Motorcycles (Okada), Tricycles (Keke) and dispatch riders are to obtain the approved Nigeria Driver's Licence Class A as this is the only legal document that conferred on a rider the right to ply the Nigerian road.

FRSC Lagos commences Operation Show Your Driver's Licences and Vehicle documents Phase II

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Lagos State will on Monday commence Operation Show Your Driver's Licence and Vehicle licence phase II in the state.

In a press statement e-signed and released to the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP) by the Corps' Public Education Officer, Route Commander Olabisi Sonusi stated that, "The Lagos State Sector Commander of FRSC, Corps Commander, Olusegun Ogungbemide disclosed this in a statement on Sunday in Lagos."

FRSC LAGOS ARRESTED 15147 TRAFFIC OFFENDERS IN THREE (3) MONTHS

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC)  arrested a total of 15147 traffic offenders in Lagos between April to June this year.

The Sector Commander FRSC Lagos Sector Command Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide today said:

In April 2021, the number of offenders stood at 5,540 with 6,526  number of offences while in May 2021, the number of offenders was 5,398 while the number of offences was 6,315. In June 2021, a total of 4,209 number of offenders were apprehended with 5, 054 offence.

LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS TANKER EXPLOSION: FRSC tasks tanker drivers on safety consciousness

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Lagos Sector Command has advised tanker drivers to always be conscious of safety before and after loading before hitting the road.

FRSC Sector Commander Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide made the plea at the scene of the LPG tanker explosion that occurred on Thursday night 17th June, 2021 at 1050pm along Mobolaji Bank Anthony way, Ikeja.
