- Speaker Kicks Against Harassment Of Residents

Speaker Mudashiru Obasa of the Lagos State House of Assembly on Wednesday cautioned the police in the state against harassment, intimidation and extortion of residents if they wanted to be respected.

Dr. Obasa said this on the floor of the House when the lawmakers honoured the outgoing Commissioner of Police, Mr. Hakeem Odumosu, who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector-General of Police and due to retire in January 2022.

LSSTF PRESENTS VANS TO NIGERIA IMMIGRATION SERVICE TO ENHANCE MIGRATION MANAGEMENT IN LAGOS

In its continuous support of all security agencies domiciled in Lagos, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has presented two vans to the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), Lagos Command.

The new Nissan pickup vans presented by Mr. Degbola Lewis, Administrative Director of LSSTF on behalf of the Fund are to enhance the operational capacity and migration management drive of the Immigration Command.

LAGOS SECURITY: POLICE ARREST 2 DRUG PEDDLERS, RECOVER DRUGS, ILLICIT SUBSTANCES

The Operatives of the Area "E" Command, Festac of the Lagos State Police Command on 30th July, 2021, at about 6am, arrested two (2) drug peddlers at Dantata area, Mile 2, along Badagry Expressway, Lagos State and recovered weeds suspected to be Indian hemp and other illicit substances from them.

The police had been intimated of the activities of the drug peddlers who were displaying drugs for sales with impunity around the area.
