In what could be described as a determined effort by the Lagos state police to further decimate all forms of criminalities in the state, men of the Lagos state Rapid Response Squad (RRS) unit, at about 00500hrs on Saturday, arrested one Lekan Ayeni, a.k.a Apa, 'm', 39 and a member of a notorious traffic and sundry robbery quartet, including Elewure, Wande Coal, Small Jesus and himself, that have been terrorizing motorists and commuters around Oshodi and Mushin environs.

Drug addiction: NDLEA‘ll establish 6 standard rehab centres across Nigeria – Marwa

As part of efforts to treat the high number of persons suffering drug addiction in the country, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA will establish six standard rehabilitation centres, one in each geo-political zone of Nigeria.

This was disclosed in Abuja on Wednesday, 27th October 2021 by the Chairman/Chief Executive of the NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd) at the 5th Biennial National Symposium on Drugs and Drug Policy in Nigeria organised by the Centre for Research and Information on Substance Abuse (CRISA).
