FALLEN FUEL TANKER AT SURULERE: POLICE DEPLOY PERSONNEL, CORDON OFF SCENE

Following a lone minor motor accident involving a Mack Truck with Reg. No. LAGOS 961 XJ laden with 33, 000 PMS at about 0400hrs of today, police officers from the Surulere Divisional Headquarters were mobilised to the scene at Stadium Bus Stop along Funsho Williams Avenue, Surulere.

ENDSARS ASSAULT; LNSA SANCTION OFFICERS

The Management of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has sanctioned all the Officers involved in the unlawful treatment of Mr Adedotun Clement (the Uber Driver) during the ENDSARS anniversary protest.

This is following the conduct of the orderly room trial of the two Officers identified in the various videos on social media from the incident and the supervising Officers from at the venue.

LAGOS POLICE AVERT OKADA TERROR: AS RRS REINFORCEMENT SAVE DAY

For the swift intervention of the men of the Lagos state Rapid Response Squad (RRS), a fatal accident involving a goods bearing truck and a commercial motorcycle rider, popular known as okada, which unfortunately led to the death of the okada rider yesterday at Ilupeju, would have snowballed into a larger scale catastrophe, as a large swathe of aggrieved riders mobilized at the scene  preparing to set the truck ablaze.

ENDSARS ANNIVERSARY PROTEST: 34 SUSPECTS ARRESTED, ARRAIGNED

The planned protest in commemoration of the one year anniversary of ENDSARS was carried out by protesters who moved in motorcade through the Lekki toll gate at about 0800hrs. They ended the protest at about 1000hrs.

FRSC LAGOS TO BEGIN CLAMPDOWN OF OKADA/TRICYCLE AND DISPATCH RIDERS WITHOUT VALID CLASS A DRIVER'S LICENCE

The Sector Commander FRSC Lagos Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide has directed that all Motorcycles (Okada), Tricycles (Keke) and dispatch riders are to obtain the approved Nigeria Driver's Licence Class A as this is the only legal document that conferred on a rider the right to ply the Nigerian road.
