Taskforce Chairman, CSP Jejeloye offers to educate commercial bus drivers

Lagos State Environmental and Special Offense Unit (Taskforce) has indicated its preparedness to collaborate with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to educate willing commercial bus drivers in order to reduce the high rate of disobedience to traffic rules and regulations in the State just as it restated its resolve to keep its operatives in check.

Lockdown: We will dismiss NURTW members caught in Lagos robbery – MC Oluomo

The Lagos State Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Akinsanya also known as MC Oluomo, has said members of the union caught engaging in crimes during the coronavirus lockdown would be dismissed.
MC Oluomo disclosed this on Monday in a statement via his verified Instagram page while imploring his men to endure the season.

MC Oluomo: Nigerians React To NURTW Boss Invitation To Speak At A UNILAG Event

Social media was recently set on a frenzy after a poster image of a University of Lagos (UNILAG) event surfaced, and had Lagos state chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Adesanya aka MC Oluomo, as one of the special guests of the day.
A twitter user expressed his disappointment and shock saying: “How can a National Thug be allowed to talk in UNILAG and Sowore wasn’t welcome”.

Speed limiter: 2800 commercial vehicles fined

The Federal Road Safety Corps has issued about 2,800 commercial vehicles tickets of fine on take off of the enforcement of speed limiting device nationwide.
