Social media was recently set on a frenzy after a poster image of a University of Lagos (UNILAG) event surfaced, and had Lagos state chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Alhaji Musiliu Adesanya aka MC Oluomo, as one of the special guests of the day.
A twitter user expressed his disappointment and shock saying: “How can a National Thug be allowed to talk in UNILAG and Sowore wasn’t welcome”.
This, according to some of them, was because the NURTW is notoriously known to harbour thugs and street urchins, that all answer to MC Oluomo, particularly in Lagos,
This would not be the first time Oluomo will be in the spotlight. In June, MC Oluomo, his wife and son Ololade received an honorary invitation by the executive governor of Georgia USA, Brain Kemp and his wife, Marty Kemp as a result of his son’s academic excellence.
