You Need More Than Rat Tumors to Prove Phones Cause Cancer

CELL PHONES MIGHT cause cancer. Then again, maybe not. Figuring out which is the case begins with rats. Scientists trying to answer the question will dose the little critters with radiation and look for tumors.
Well, tumors showed up in a recent study and people are worried.

Military rescued 11,595 B’Haram captives under me – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday disclosed that the military had so far rescued 11,595 persons held captive by the Boko Haram sect between May 29, 2015 when he was inaugurated and February 2016.
He said since December 2015, the military had regained all territories hitherto occupied by the sect.

A man in Thailand is recovering in hospital after a python latched its fangs onto his penis while he was using his toilet earlier this week.

Rescuers arrived to find the python's head hanging from the bathroom door, secured by a rope, with the rest of the snake still stuck in the squat toilet at the man's home in Chachoengsao Province, east of Bangkok.

Outrage as 30 men rape 16-year-old, post video online

Two gang rapes of teenage girls including one supposedly involving 30 men that was filmed and posted online have shocked Brazil.
The UN women’s rights agency condemned the cases after the video was posted on Twitter apparently by one of the rapists who boasted about the assault.

Five policemen missing in Rivers after ambush

THE Rivers State Police Command on Fridaydeclared five policemen missing after an ambush by unknown gunmen on Wednesdayat Okujagu waterways in Okrika Local Government Area.
The command also announced the arrest of 53 suspects in connection with the missing policemen.
State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Ahmad Muhammad, said in a statement that the policemen were part of a team that were on a routine police inquiry when they were attacked before they could disembark from the boat conveying them.
