Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu and Katsina State Counterpart, CP Buba Sanusi, DCP Yetunde Longe and the Area B Commander in Lagos, ACP Bode Ojajuni were today elevated to the next rank, along with several other senior officers.

The Lagos State Police Command has dismissed one AP No 278055 Inspector Jonathan Kampani, attached to Mounted Troop of the Nigeria Police Force, for firing and killing one Jelili Bakare at Quinox Lounge, Sangotedo Area of Lagos State, on 18th March, 2021.

POLICE ARREST VIGILANTE MAN FOR KILLING PASSERBY, 17 SUSPECTED ARMED ROBBERS, RECOVER ARMS

The police operatives attached to Ijora Division of the command, on Tuesday, 13th April 2021, at about 2pm arrested one Vigilante member, Lukman Rasak, m, 30,  for shooting one Musa Yahaya, m, 28, on his chest at Ijora area of the state.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
