ARMED ROBBER CAPTURED, DIED, OTHERS FLED WITH STUDENTS VALUABLES IN EKITI

A suspected robber has died and three others fled after a spectacular counter-attacks by the irate students of Ekiti State University.

Police operatives of the Ekiti RRS were first alerted that a number of armed men had approached the Students' Hostels Opposite Ekiti State University, Iworoko-Ekiti.

On the 4/4/2021 at about 1908hrs, The chairman  of a Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN)  of Zone 12 Hausa Quarters Warri reported that on the same date at about 0100hrs, he received a phone call from one Onajite Okolejo ‘m’  aged 36yrs a VGN member working under the unit that he was being attacked by some armed gang.

The Police operatives attached to Bariga Division of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested one Segun Ezekiel, m, 24, leader of Aiye Confraternity in Bariga Area, on 31st March, 2021, for firing and killing one Taye Gbalagbala, m, 30, the alleged leader of the Eye Confraternity in Bariga, on 28th March, 2021.
