We regret voting you as our Governor, forget second term – Benue citizens blast Ortom over comment

The Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has come under heavy attacks by angry people of the state for ‘taking them for granted.’

Ortom had during an interactive session on Harvest FM, Makurdi, during the week, boasted that he was sure of winning his second term convincingly if God asks him to go ahead.

Majek Fashek no longer under my care – Ayiri Emami

An aide to former Governor James Ibori of Delta State, Ayiri Emami, has revealed that he is no longer responsible for reggae icon, Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly called Majek Fashek.

The oil baron, who reportedly sponsored Fashek’s rehabilitation at an Abuja rehabilitation home, Synapse Services-Centre for Psychological Medicine in 2015, disclosed that the affairs of the legendary musician was no longer under his care since the day he (Majek) returned to Lagos against his wish.

Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has recalled the ‘behind the scene’ drama that surrounded a letter he wrote to former President Goodluck Jonathan in 2013 to raise the alarm over billions of dollars from oil sale not remitted to the federation account.

Sanusi, who was later suspended as CBN governor, revealed that Jonathan did nothing until former President Olusegun Obasanjo wrote his own letter.
