A Commissioner at the Lagos State Local Government Service Commission (LGSC), Hon. Hakeem Bamgbola has predicted a clean sweep for his party, All Progressives Congress (APC) at the just-concluded LG/LCDA polls in Lagos.

He made this affirmation as he cast his vote earlier today at polling unit 054 Makanjuola under Sanusi ward in Itire/Ikate LCDA.

NAF AIRCRAFT: MINISTER OF DEFENCE LEADS PARADE TO RECEIVE NEWLY ARRIVED A-29 SUPER TUCANO AIRCRAFT

The Nigeria government has taken delivery of the first batch of the Nigerian Air Force A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft in Kano at around 12.34 pm, Thursday, 22nd July, 2021.

In a press statement by the Minister's Special assistant on media and publicity, Mohammad Abdulkadri stated that, "The Minister of Defence, Maj Gen Bashir Salihi Magashi (retd) officially took the delivery of the aircraft."

EID-EL KABIR: LAGOS POLICE RAID BLACK SPOTS, ARREST 103 • Recover Suspected Drugs, Dangerous Weapons

The Lagos State Police Command on 19th and 20th July, 2021, raided some black spots, specifically Oshodi Oke and Oshodi Under Bridge, where One Hundred and Three hoodlums were arrested with dangerous weapons.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, had ordered the Tactical Commanders and Commanders in charge of the Rapid Response Squad and Taskforce, to go after hoodlums and miscreants who might want to create security threats and attack unsuspecting Lagosians during and after the Eid-El Kabir celebration in Lagos State.
