If you’re busy at work and you feel like chatting with somebody on WhatsApp, you can do that on your computer with the aid of an app designed for that purpose.
The web service is compatible with WhatsApp mobile apps on Android, iOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry and Nokia’s S60 or S40 phones. Your phone also needs to have a rear-facing camera and WhatsApp has to be turned on.

Prophet chains 28 ‘sick’ persons in Lagos apartment

A self-proclaimed prophet, Emmanuel Adeyemi, has been arrested by the police in Lagos State after 28 persons were allegedly found chained in his apartment in the Oke-Ira, Ogba area of the state.
Our correspondent learnt that there was confusion on Olamidun Close, Oke-Ira, where the suspect lived, on Friday when operatives from Area G Command, Ogba, stormed the apartment and found the victims chained in several rooms.

Lawmakers don’t have right to increase budget – Fashola

THE Minister of Power, Workers and Housing, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, said on Monday that it was wrong for the legislature to unilaterally seek to increase the national budget.
Fashola, who made this remark as one of the panelists at the annual conference of the Nigerian Bar Association, stated that the major responsibility of the legislature was representation.

Man slumps and dies while arguing with friend

A bizarre scenario played out yesterday at the Okigwe Road roundabout, Owerri, as a man slumped and died while having a heated argument with his friend.
The deceased, whose name could not be ascertained before press time, was said to be a block moulder and hailed from one of the communities in Ngor Okpala local council area of Imo State. According to a man who claimed to have witnessed the entire incident said, the duo were arguing over a possible business transaction.
