‎New PMS price would crash in 3 months – APC

The All Progressives Congress APC has lent its voice to the federal government’s removal of fuel subsidy, saying, the pump price of fuel would crash within the next three months.

APC said, like the Global System of Mobile telecommunication, GSM, the price of fuel is bound to reduce soon as a result of increased competition. National Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun stated this on Friday in Abuja during a brief chat with journalists.

Civil Servant Commits Suicide In Abia Over Unpaid Salaries

A civil servant with the Abia State ministry of lands and survey yesterday committed suicide over funds to purchase  uniforms demanded by the wife for women’ s day celebration of their church.

The deceased it was learnt, has not received his salaries for some months and was finding it difficult to meet his family’s monthly bills.

Saraki’s asset declaration form doctored – Lawyer

The Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, on Tuesday revealed in the ongoing trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja on 16 counts, including false and anticipatory asset declaration, by claiming that his asset declaration form submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau in 2003 had been doctored.

Saraki’s lawyer, Mr. Paul Erokoro (SAN), made this claim while cross-examining the first prosecution witness, Mr. Michael Wetkas.
