The Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Abdulrrazaq Balogun today joined many other dignitaries to celebrate the life and times of Alhaja Sikirat Adunni Odumosu, the 88-year-old mother of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Hakeem Odumosu who recently passed away after a brief illness.
The octogenarian whose passing occurred in the Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilisan Remo, Ogun state on Thursday, 2nd September 2021 was described by the LSSTF boss as a 'woman who lived a life of meaningful impact to family, community, and country.'
Speaking with Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper, ES Abdulrrazaq Balogun noted that Mama's demise is not a tragic incident but one which deserves thankfulness to Almighty Allah.
'Mama was succeeded by her children all doing well in their respective careers.
Mama's children have their own children, they were not lost to any evil occurrence.'
'Mama's child that has to battle crime and criminals on a regular basis is preserved by Allah, so why should we not thank God', Balogun said about CP Hakeem Odumosu.
The CEO in charge of the funding agency which has been of immense help to the Police in Lagos concluded: 'On behalf of every member of staff of the LSSTF, I pray for the entire family of Odumosu, their extended family, friends, and well-wishers that God will grant them the fortitude to bear the loss.
I also pray for Aljannah Fridaus for Mama Alhaja Sikirat Adunni Odumosu'.
