TWICE AS NICE! LSSTF REINFORCES SECURITY IN LAGOS; PRESENTS COMMUNICATION GADGETS TO LAGOS POLICE COMMAND

In the space of one week, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has empowered the Nigerian Police, Lagos State Command twice.

Initially, it was the support of 50 brand new vehicles to help the operational logistics of the security agency, now it is the support of push-to-talk gadgets to enhance communication during operations.

The sophisticated gadgets which were delivered by LSSTF delegation led by board member, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan alongside Mr Lewis Degbola and Miss Ada Nwankwo on behalf of the funding agency was received by the Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu.


The brief presentation event held in the Conference Room at the Command Headquarters, Ikeja.

While appreciating the efforts of the LSSTF, CP Hakeem Odumosu encouraged officers and men of the Command to make judicious use of the gadgets for the purpose which they are meant.

He admonished them to protect the communication gadgets from damage and loss.


Sharing more information about the gesture, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Command's Spokesperson noted that the LSSTF delegation and a consulting firm did a demo for police officers present.

This is to ensure maximum use and maintenance of the gadgets to suit the operational requirements and engagements of the Police Command.


Also present at the presentation were Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) DCP Ahmed Kontangora; Deputy Commissioner of Police (Finance and Administration) DCP Bassey Ewah; Assistant Commissioner of Police, (Operations) ACP Dotun Odubona, some Divisional Police Officers and communication controllers within the Command.
