CP MOBAYO, EKITI CHIEF OF STAFF, OTHERS PAYS CONDOLENCE VISITS TO LATE FEMALE POLICE FAMILY

The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP Tunde Mobayo has led Senior Government Officials, Ekiti State Police Command Management to the resident of the late female Police officer shot during the last Saturday Ekiti East Bye-Election in the State.

According to a press statement released and e-signed by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Abutu Sunday, “The Commissioner of Police, Ekiti State Command, CP TUNDE MOBAYO, today being 23rd March, 2021, amidst tears, paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late W/SGT OLAWOYE BUKOLA who gave up the ghost yesterday 22nd March, 2021 after she was shot by hoodlums during the recent Ekiti East House of Assembly bye election.


“The CP who arrived Ikere-Ekiti, the home town of the deceased, alongside the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ekiti State, MR BIODUN OMOLEYE and some other top government officials at exactly 1330hrs, first visited the resident of the deceased mother and then proceeded to the house of the deceased husband.


While commiserating with the family of the late Woman Police on behalf of the Inspector general of police, IGP ADAMU MOHAMMED NPM MNI, and the entire Nigeria Police, the CP described her death as very unfortunate and prayed God receives her soul.


Meanwhile, the Commissioner pledged the support of the Nigeria Police, especially the Ekiti State Police Command, for the family during and after the burial, while also assuring the family and all concerned citizens that the trial for justice has already begun on her killers.
