Someone Just Scammed Dammy Krane!

Trace TV have denied that they asked Dammy Krane for money to play his music on their station, even after he accused them of demanding money.

Dammy Krane knows how it feels to be at the center of a scam.

His time in an American prison over alleged credit card fraud and identity theft, left a bitter test in his mouth.
The artiste is in the center of another building storm.

At the end of last year, in a series of Tweets, he accused both the head of Operations at Trace TV, Nosa Omoregie, and the Managing Director of Trace TV West Africa, Sam Onyemelukwe of collecting money from him to play his music on Trace TV.

“God bless all the TV stations supporting ,Apart from TRACE Naija , @TRACE_Inter it’s because of the crazy people you put in charge in Nigeria like “Nosa & Sam “ collecting money from artistes ... people will stop watching Tracenaija in 2018 #Street #TakeOver” he tweeted.

"Trace does not charge for video submission or airplay. On the contrary, royalties are paid to artistes and record labels for broadcasting their works.” Sam Onyemelukwe said, finally responding to Dammy Krane in a statement released on Friday.

He revealed that some people had setup a ‘cabal’  to charge unknowing record labels and artistes with a fake guarantee that their video will air on Trace.

The Trace boss also pointed out that a scammer in Ghana even had a price list for airplay on Trace and other music channels and shows.

“We do not sell video spins on the channel and anybody who tells you otherwise is a liar. We only offer a promotion package called Zoom that can be purchased and guarantees a short profile and a few clips of an artist’s music video” he added.
