Omotayo was whisked away at Imota, Ikorodu, while on his way to work, spokesman for the local council secretariat, Bello Onilegbale said.
According to him, Omotayo’s kidnappers have contacted the council’s Head of Administration, Mrs. Mosunmola Otaiku-Okoka.
He said they demanded N20 million ransom.
Confirming the incident, the spokesman of Lagos Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA), Afolabi Olawale, said efforts to rescue Omotayo were ongoing.
