CCTV shows knife-wielding man storming Sydney bank in broad daylight

Police hunting a would-be-thief who invaded a Sydney CBD bank last week have released CCTV footage of the attempted armed robbery.
The knife-wielding man entered the Market Street Commonwealth Bank branch in broad daylight last Friday, February 12.
Footage shows him storming the bank about 1.35pm and threatening customers and staff while demanding money.
The man fled empty-handed and was last seen heading on east on Market Street towards Hyde Park.
Police are still searching for the man, who is believed to be in his mid-30s and of Caucasian appearance.
