Chloe Goins wants her case against Bill Cosby to spur criminal charges, too

Bill Cosby accuser Chloe Goins is hopeful that her case against the comedian will also lead to criminal charges after felony assault charges in Andrea Constand’s case were filed against Cosby on Wednesday.

“I’m glad the D.A. on that case is giving the victim a chance to have her voice heard in a court of law in a jury trial by jury," Goins told FOX411. "Hopefully, I will have that same opportunity as well very soon.”

The model claims that the disgraced TV dad drugged and sexually assaulted her in 2008 at a Playboy Mansion party.

She along with Constand is one of the few accusers whose alleged attack happened within the statute of limitations.

“My client is very happy that Mr. Cosby will be brought to justice in the criminal court system. She hopes that the LA District attorney's will also see fit to bring charges in her case," Goins’ attorney Spencer Kuvin told FOX411.

"She’s always wanted him behind bars for what he’s done.”

The Los Angeles Police Department is currently investigating Goins’ claims. According to Kuvin, the claim is still pending and under review at the Los Angeles District Attorney.

“They were looking to see what Pennsylvania would do because they were aware of the investigation underway,” Kuvin said.

In January, Cosby’s lawyer denied that the actor was at the Playboy Mansion during the alleged assault.

Kuvin said that Cosby keeps all his travel documents so “we will be seeking that discovery in the pending civil action.”

Cosby was charged Wednesday over an encounter that occurred with Constand 12 years ago.

"We are here to announce today charges that have just been filed against William Henry Cosby.

These charges stem from a sexual assault that took place on an evening in early 2004 at Mr. Cosby’s home," Montgomery County assistant district attorney Kevin Steele said in a press conference.

"Mr. Cosby is charged with aggravated indecent assault."

Aggravated indecent assault is punishable by up to 10 years behind bars.
