A Lagos State Mobile Court sitting at Ogba in the Ikeja Magisterial District has convicted four young ladies for prostitution.
The convicts: Rashidat Ibrahim (19), Sarah Mohammed (24), Chinyere Aguogo (24) and Mary Eze (25), were arrested at about 1.00am on August 31, 2015 by men of the Lagos State Special Task Force, Alausa in Abule Egba area of the state.
The prosecution revealed that the convicts had formed the habit of showcasing themselves very late in the night at a particular black spot. It however pleaded with the court to advise them to devise reasonable means of livelihood in addition to dispensing justice.
The ladies pleaded guilty. They were fined N5,000,00.
