Fraudsters have created more than 14 fake accounts in my name – Kunle Afolayan warns fans

Nollywood actor and film maker, Kunle Afolayan has urged his fans to beware of fraudsters who operate several social media accounts in his name.
He took to his Twitter and Instagram accounts @kunleafolayan and @kunleafo to post a list of accounts claiming to belong to him.

The announcement of the 69-year-old’s passing away, was made via their Twitter account.

Ambode nominates ex-Lagos CJ, Philips as LASIEC chairman

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode has nominated the immediate past Chief Judge of the State, Justice Ayotunde Philips as replacement for the retired Chairman of the Lagos State Independent Electoral Commission (LASIEC), Hon. Justice Fatai Adeyinka.

The Governor, in a letter addressed to the State House of Assembly, which was read on the floor of the House on Tuesday, said the decision to nominate Justice Philips was pursuant to the powers conferred on him by Section 2 (1) and (2) of the LASIEC Act, 2008.
