I have received lots of questions regarding 5G. From voice notes from educated and uneducated illiterates spreading the conspiracy theory. Sadly, none of these people are science or technology experts. I was planning on writing about this until I saw this. Please take your time to read and educate someone today!

Inmates Will Die Like Chickens if Coronavirus Gets into Prison in Nigeria” – Lamboginny

It is no news that the world is currently facing a pandemic; Covid-19.
As at 5 April, 2020, the total number of persons infected, was 1, 253,079 and total number of deaths; 68,158 and these figures keep rising, which is why we are deeply concerned about the situation of inmates in our prisons (also known as Custodial Centres) in Nigeria.
Statistics:
As of Jan 2020, total population of inmates in Prisons in Nigeria, was 72,677, the breakdown of which is as follows:
Convicted: 21,890; and
Awaiting Trial: 50,737
Based on this, 70% of the total number of inmates are awaiting trial whilst 30% have been convicted.

Coronavirus: 15 Chinese Medical Team Arrive in Nigeria

Fifteen Chinese doctors have arrived in Nigeria to support the Federal Government on the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The team arrived in Nigeria in a chartered Air Peace aircraft on Wednesday afternoon.

Top politicians’ names found as police invade shrine belonging to top official

The Zamfara State Government has demolished a mansion suapected to be a shrine in Gusau, the state capital, where rituals are allegedly being performed.

The mansion, which was alleged to belong to a very top government functionary in the state, was demolished on Monday on the orders of the state government.
Items discovered in the shrine included a calabash full of a substance suspected to be blood, a pot with many needles and a skeleton believed to be that of a human being.

Lagos State Govt Moves To Withdraw Charge Against Naira Marley, Gbadamosi, Others

The Lagos State government has agreed to withdraw charges against former governorship candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) in Lagos State, Babatunde Gbadamosi, his wife Folasade, and popular singer Naira Marley.
This is as the defendants accepted to tender written apologies to the Lagos State Government, as well as to issue undertakings to comply with the directive on lockdown and social distancing, including a stay in isolation for the next 14 days.

Police bar journalists from covering Naira Marley’s trial

Policemen on Wednesday barred journalists from covering the trial of a popular singer, Fashola Azeez, alias Naira Marley, for alleged violation of the lockdown order in Lagos State.
The Lagos State Government charged the musician before the Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Ogba for attending a crowded birthday party in violation of the social distancing directive to check the spread of coronavirus.

Lagos pegs entry age into JSS1 at 12 years…Says violators will pay fines, including closure of school

The Lagos State Government will from the next academic session enforce the entry age of 12 years for pupils seeking admission into junior secondary school (JSS1) to check the registration of under-aged kids.
Also, a fine of N50,000 for first offenders, N100,000 for second offenders as well as warning letters to close the school in case of further violation.
In a circular to Concerned Parents, dated March 17th, 2020, their state government said the new policy will be enforced in public and private schools to enhance compliance in the 2021 academic session.
