Court stands down Fayose’s
A Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday stood down for one hour, the fraud trial of the immediate past Governor of Ekiti, Ayodele Fayose, facing charges of N6.9 billion fraud.
A former Minister of State for Defence, Sen. Musiliu Obanikoro, who is the fifth prosecution witness, was billed by cross examination on Monday.

Why I left Nigeria – Nnamdi Kanu
The leader of Pro-Biafra separatist group Nnamdi Kanu has said he left Nigeria because he could not get the necessary protection from the court.
Kanu, who leads the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) was first seen in the public in Jerusalem on Thursday after he went underground in September 2017 following the deployment of troops to the southeastern city of Umuahia.

Lagos APC primary: Sanwo-Olu fires back at Ambode over fraud, drug abuse claims
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, a Lagos governorship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC), has responded to claims made by the state Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, during his world press conference on Sunday.
Sanwo-Olu, in a statement sent to DAILY POST, called for respect and insisted that “my pursuit of office will continue to be based upon issues that matter to Lagosians and not on attacks against someone’s character, even when he attack mine”.
