Corrupt leaders should be killed – CharlyBoy

Mr. Charles Oputa, popularly known as CharlyBoy, has advocated that corrupt leaders should be put to death.
He made the call during a news conference put together by the “Occupy Unlimited” group, a civil society group that advocates good governance and corruption-free society.

23-year-old dies while struggling for gun …his death a relief, says mother

A vigilance group commander in the Oke Aro area of Ogun State, Quadri Adesina, has been arrested by the police after an alleged accidental discharge from his gun killed a 23-year-old man, Yusuf Azeez.
Azeez reportedly wanted to wrest the gun from the suspect when a bullet hit him in the thigh. He was rushed to a hospital in the area, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

TB Joshua deletes ‘failed’ prophecy post from Facebook after mockery from Nigerians

A couple of hours after the Nigeria’s social media community went agog over the prophecy by founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Prophet TB Joshua on the just concluded US presidential election, the post on his Facebook has been deleted.
T.B Joshua on his official Facebook page – TB Joshua Ministries on Sunday had predicted that the next President of the United States will be ‘a woman.’

Nigeria has become a nation of sorrow under Buhari


The Peoples Democratic Party has stated that Nigerians are suffering under the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government.
The Vice-Chairman of the party in the North-East, Emmanuel Njiwah, made this observation in Yola, on Wednesday.
According to him, Nigeria had become a nation of sorrow under the All Progressives Congress.

Teacher arrested for having anal sex with pupil

The Oyo State Police Command on Wednesday said it had arrested a 20-year-old primary school teacher, Collins Obi, for raping a 10-year-old boy in Ibadan.
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adekunle Ajisebutu, said  the teacher committed sodomy on November 5, 2016, explaining that apart from teaching in the school where the victim attended, he was also the boy’s personal teacher.
