A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Gideon Aremu, representing Orelope State Constituency was killed by gunmen on Friday evening.
Bus driver kills twins, injures brother in Ogun
A commercial mini-bus, a Toyota Picnic with number plate KTU 175 DZ, crushed two children of the same parents to death on Friday in Ita Oshin area, Abeokuta, Ogun State while they were on their way to school.
The accident, according to an eyewitness, occurred at about 8am.

Sea pirates kill three Agip workers in Bayelsa
Hoodlums, suspected to be sea pirates, have killed three workers of an international oil company, Nigerian Agip Oil Company, in Bayelsa State.
It was learnt that the incident occurred on Wednesday at a work station in the creeks of Nembe around Obama flow station operated by Eni Oil, a parent company of Agip.
A security source, who craved anonymity, said the victims were two engineers and a driver.
Lagos to jail street hawkers from July 1- Ambode
The Lagos State Government on Friday said that from July 1, 2016, it would commence a total enforcement against street trading and street hawkers, saying that the law banning their activities across the metropolis would take its full course.
Speaking at a live interview session on Television Continental, the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode said that the renewed enforcement is in line with Section One of the Lagos State Street Trading and Illegal Market Prohibition Law 2003 which restricts street trading and hawking in the metropolis.
