The winner of Little Miss Damsel Nigeria 2021, Queen Nnenna-Miracle Abel Kalu has started her pet project with over 200 street children benefited in Lagos yesterday.

The adorable crowned 8-year-old expressed ‘It is a duty for me to do this because it makes me inspire other kids around the world.

I feel excited to put smiles on the faces of 200 kids by giving them food which they cannot afford.

I will want to do this again and again every time’, she told Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper as she gave the food palliative to children like her in the Roundabout area of Ajah and Abraham Adesanya axis.

‘It is very amazing to share food to the poor. My message is to tell the rich in the society to help the beautiful children and adults in the streets.

I want to say thank you to my mom and dad. I also want to thank Mr. Frank for this opportunity.’

The fashion prodigy who started sewing clothes at age 6 had a word for the wife of the Abia State Governor, Mrs. Nkechi Ikpeazu, ‘I will like to tell the wife of Abia state Governor to help people like me from our state.

She can also do something like this whereby a queen will emerge. It is never too late to help children.’

The proud mother of Queen Nnenna-Miracle, Mrs. Patience Kalu noted about her, ‘She loves fashion.

She started to sew at age 6 but she also has a large heart. She kept telling me I want to help people outside there.

Maybe it is because of the circumstances of her birth because at 2 months, the doctors instructed us to abort that she will not be a normal child. She said she wants to do charity.

I have to support her.’

Advising others, Mrs. Kalu said: ‘We don’t have so much but we have love. So if you have love, you will give whether you are rich or poor.

I know government have a lot to handle but children and youths first, please. I want to beg them to help the poor.’

On his reason for starting the initiative, the organizer of Little Miss Damsel Nigeria, Mr. Frank Obia told Trek Africa Newspaper, ‘Because I have passion for children and when you see children possess this kind of talent, it is for you to push them out into the limelight and give them exposure.

That is why Little Damsel is here. We have passion for the girl child.

They have a lot to contribute to this society. It is for ages 7 to 11.

We also have for ages 12 to 14.’

Speaking about the idea of Miracle’s pet project, Mr. Obia recalled: ‘I am so excited to see a child grow up with such passion and love for the society.

It is only few people that do such in the society.

On her own, she called me to say this is what she wants to do out of what she got from the show.’
