LAGOS CP CELEBRATES EID-EL KABIR WITH POLICE PERSONNEL, FRIENDS AT SHQ

In the spirit of Edil-El Kabir celebration, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, today  Thursday 22nd July, 2021, made a feast for officers and men and friends of the Lagos State Police Command at the Command Headquarters, located along Muiz Banire Street, GRA, Ikeja-Lagos.

The Commissioner of Police, while declaring the feast open, personally appreciated the personnel of the command, especially the rank and files who are the foot soldiers on the field, for their commitment and resilience in combating crimes and criminality in Lagos State.

The police boss seized the opportunity to admonish the entire workforce of the command to sustain the already established formidable security structure in the state as the command can not afford to relent in its efforts in securing Lagos State.

He further assured them of his readiness to relate and work with the Police Force headquarters Abuja, the Lagos State Government and relevant stakeholders in providing the required wherewithal to effectively discharge their duties as expected.

CP Hakeem Odumosu noted that the Command will partner with other security agencies, traditional rulers and stakeholders to improve on its anti crime strategies which will make policing easier in the state since the good people of Lagos State have embraced the Community Policing concept.

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Hakeem Odumosu, therefore encouraged Muslim faithful and the good people of Lagos State to continue to pray and work for peace and unity of Lagos State and Nigeria at large as all hands must be on deck to collectively fight our common enemies.
