APC CHAIRMANSHIP CANDIDATE, HON. IBRAHIM RASAQ, OTHER HOPEFULS IN COKER/AGUDA LCDA PAY COURTESY VISIT TO LSSTF ES, DR. ABDULRRAZAQ BALOGUN; URGES THEM TO FULFILL PARTY’S MANIFESTO WHEN ELECTED

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairmanship candidate in the upcoming LG/LCDA elections for Coker-Aguda LCDA, Hon. Rasaq Olamilekan Ibrahim led his Vice Chairman and Councillorship Candidates to paid a courtesy visit to the Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun ahead of the July 24th elections in Lagos.

Speaking with Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper, described the Head of LSSTF as ‘my mentor, my leader, and my father’, Hon. Ibrahim noted ‘I came here to seek his advice and get more knowledge from his wealth of experience which will help us to be successful.’


On his antecedent in public service, the 35-year old chairmanship hopeful said: ‘When I was Supervisor for Health, I contributed a lot into primary health.

I also contributed to primary schools by giving the pupils books.

I engaged in community and environmental programmes. This is what is giving me the confidence that I will win.’


On the expectations of the people of the council, he added: ‘Immediately I get into office, I will try to talk to the community especially the youth on one-on-one interaction to make them know that this is our time and we need peace.

We want to carry youths along. My agenda is to create job opportunities for the youths.

We have a skill acquisition centre in the LCDA already. We have entered a partnership with Samsung to come and teach programming, ICT, phone and laptop repairs while the other skills that are already in place are kept going.’


The APC Chairmanship flagbearer, who was accompanied on the visit by his vice-chairmanship mate, Hon. Matthew Olanrewaju Olaleye and councillorship candidates, noted: ‘What I am bringing on board includes innovation in health and education.

We are also going to bring everyone together so we can move the community forward.’

On his part, Hon. Matthew Olanrewaju Olaleye said that he we will work hand-in-hand with his principal so as to better the lot of Coker/Aguda LCDA. ‘We have a lot of programs that we have in place.


I don’t want us to be full of words but I want you to come to Coker/Aguda in the next 6 months to see the massive difference that we would bring.’

On the respect they have for Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, Hon. Olaleye mentioned ‘looking at his personality and antecedent, we recognize him as a great leader that we can follow. 

That is why we have to come to him and we will not disappoint him.’


Commending the duo and councillorship candidates for being progressive youths, the Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun charged them to be worthy ambassadors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and to fulfill the party’s manifesto when they take executive position in Coker/Aguda LCDA.

Dr. Balogun is full of hopes that they will emerge winners in the local council elections as the Coker/Aguda electorates can feel the impact of the APC government at the federal and state level.
