NSCDC COMMANDANT, AYENI HARPS ON SYNERGY IN TACKLING INSECURITY IN LAGOS

... Curbed Pipeline Vandalisation.

The Lagos State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), commandant Ayeni Paul K, has affirms the Command's commitment synergizes with other security agencies to foster the security of lives and property.

In a press statement released and e-signed by the Command's Spokesperson, ASCI Abolurin Oluwaseun to Oki Samson of Trek Africa Newspaper,

"The Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Lagos State Command, Commandant Ayeni Paul K, MSC MBA ACIA ANIM, in a management meeting today, with the Deputy Commandants, Assistant Commandants, Head of Departments, Area Commanders, Divisional Officers and Head of Units, in the Lagos State Command, affirms the Command's commitment and readiness, to foster the security of lives and property in Lagos State."

"The Commandant posits that synergy is aptly key and vital to achieving robust success, in the security industry, in our global world today. He charges the senior officers, Area Commanders and Divisional Officers present at the management meeting, to ensure cordial and good working relationship, with other sister agencies, within their jurisdiction."

In addition, the Commandant charges the senior officers, on robust intelligence gathering and reporting, on criminal activities being perpetrated by criminal elements within their jurisdiction.

He admonishes the Divisional Officers and Area Commanders to be prompt and proactive in sending intelligence reports, that will be of great importance, to the appropriate quarters, in the state Command or even directly to him, for swift action .

ASCI Oluwaseun revealed that, the Commandant gives praise to the Almighty God and commends the officers and men of the Lagos State Command, for their assiduous efforts, to achieving the rare feat of curbing pipeline vandalism, in Lagos state, within the last six months of his resumption into office as the Commandant of Lagos State Command.

Meanwhile, the Commandant, further adds that pipeline vandalism is a form of economic sabotage against the growth and development of the state and the nation.

In addendum, to this, pipeline vandalism also causes loss of lives and valuable property of both individuals and the state amongst others.

The Commandant charges the Divisional Officers and other concerned units, to ensure that vandals of whatever kind are totally warded off, from the state.

Finally, Commandant Ayeni PK affirms that he remains undisputedly loyal, to the Commandant General, CG Abubakar Audi PhD mni and he is committed, to the goals and aspirations of the erudite and prolific Commandant General, in ensuring the absolute fulfillment of the corps' mandate.

"We will continue to sustain the peace, serenity and tranquility, in Lagos State," he says.
