I will abide by principles of Buhari’s govt - Jibrin

IN line with the official declaration of assets by President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, a Minister- Designate, Ibrahim Usman Jibrin declared yesterday that he was prepared to move in tandem with the principles of the administration.
In a statement to Vanguard yesterday, Jibrin who noted that he believes in the present administration and its cardinal objective of zero tolerance for corruption, stressed that as a minister, he join the President to pursue this and ensure that it was achieved for the country.

The Minister – Designate said that if president Buhari and Vice President can declare their assets, what would stop him as one of those that will drive the manifesto from declaring his assets too.

He said, “In line with the Administrations openness and zero tolerance for corruption, the Minister Designate will abide by these principles and more importantly follow all due processes in accordance with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

If it warrants, I will do more.”
