A friendly game between Nigeria and National Rwandan U-23 teams that was scheduled for Saturday in Kigali has been postponed.
According to a senior official of Rwanda Football Federation, Bonnie Mugabe, the postponement is due to challenges faced by some Nigerian players to travel to Rwanda.
The official spoke with reporters on Thursday in Kigali.
Without further explanation, Mugabe said he was hopeful that another date would be fixed for the game.
Rwanda’s national team, Amavubi, was keen to play the match in preparation for the upcoming 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) scheduled for Jan. 16 to Feb. 7, 2016 in Kigali.
