In a colourful blend of two cultures,  the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, got married to his new wife, Wuraola Obanor, from Edo State, at a traditional marriage held in Benin, the Edo State capital.

On that day, a court sentenced him to 40 years in prison for sexually assaulting orphaned children while on a missionary trip in Kenya in 2014.

13 persons including Anglican Priest die in road accident

NO fewer than 13 persons including an Anglican priest were Thursday killed in a fatal multiple auto crash near Atakpo River in Ibusa along Asaba-Ogwashi-Uku road, Delta State. The death of the priest, who was identified as Revd Stanley Ejiniwe has thrown the entire Asaba Diocese of the Anglican Communion into mourning and confusion.

172 Nigerian migrants flown home from Libya

The International Organization for Migration flew 172 Nigerian migrants including six women home from Libya on Friday, the organisation said. An AFP cameraman said a child was among the migrants who left Tripoli’s Mitiga airport at 4:30 am (0230 GMT) dressed in tracksuits and sports shoes.

CBN suspends staff over fraudulent transaction

KETU RIOTS: Boy, 16, hit by stray bullet cries for help

Doctors are currently battling to save the life of 16-year-old Bolaji Kalejaye, who was hit by a stray bullet during the recent Mile 12 crisis.

It was gathered that Bolaji was on his way home from where he went to write JAMB examination when he was hit by a stray bullet, which led to his intestines coming out.
