SON warns fast-food operators against food poisoning

The Standard Organisation of Nigeria has restated the need for operators of fast-food restaurants in the country to make use of the relevant code of practice for their operations in order to avoid food poisoning.

Man, 38 kills neigbour over missing Christmas chickens

A 38-year-old man, Mr. Idowu Ajewole has been remanded in prison custody by a Magistrate Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State Capital for allegedly killing his former neigbour, Mr. Monday Bassey, 28 over missing Christmas chickens.

LASU directs staff to sign nominal roll or forfeit salary

The Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has directed its staff to resume the signing of nominal roll before the fifth day of every month to ensure payment of their salaries.
This is contained in the university’s official bulletin ‎made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Lagos.
According to the bulletin, the directive is meant for both the academic and Non-academic staff.
