The Association of Resident Doctors (ARD), Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) on Monday urged Nigerians to prevent the high rate of cardiovascular diseases in the country with daily brisk walk and exercises.

One feared dead, four building razed in tanker explosion

Pandemonium broke out, yesterday, in the Ojuelegba area of Lagos State after a tanker carrying 33,000 liters of Premium |Motor Spirit, PMS (petrol) fell off the Ojuelegba bridge, spilling its contents and bursting into flames. One yet to be identified person was feared dead while three others were injured in the accident.

Breaking News: INEC declares Yahaya Bello Kogi Governor-Elect

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Alh. Yahaya Bello as the winner of the Kogi governorship poll.
APC polled 247,752 votes to defeat PDP who came a strong second with 204,877 votes. In today’s supplementary poll, APC polled 6885 votes to beat PDP which polled 5363 votes.
