A 34-year-old bakery worker, Mohammed Ahmed has confessed to raping his daughter for six consecutive
times. Ahmed, who was paraded by officials of the Osun State Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence
Corps on Wednesday, told newsmen that he started having sex with his 14-year-old daughter, Eniola (not
real name) since April. He recalled, “I have two wives. The first had left and she gave birth to three children. The second wife
gave birth to two children before she died.

40yr old man, rapes 4-yr-old girl to death in Bayelsa



YENAGOA— OFFICIALS of United Nations Children’s Fund, UNICEF, and other stakeholders in the protection of the rights of the child were shocked, yesterday, to hear of the case of a 40-year-old man that raped a four-year-old girl to death in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

Buhari didn’t make specific promises – Presidency


ABUJA–Presidency yesterday stated that President Mohammdu Buhari during his campaign never made specific promises of what to achieve within his first 100 days in office.
It also denied circulating documents which contained such promises, saying that two booklets titled “One Hundred Things Buhari Will Do in 100 Days” and “My Covenant With Nigerians” which allegedly made rounds were not products of the Media Department of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
