I helped Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia move cash from court –Banker

An official of Diamond Bank Plc, Ademola Oshodi, told a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja on Monday that he managed the bank account of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia numbered 0032091183 domiciled in the bank.
Oshodi told the court that he regularly visited Ofiili-Ajumogobia’s chamber on the premises of the Federal High Court on Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos, to collect huge cash sums for onward deposit into the judge’s account.

Former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustee, Tony Anenih, has revealed that he stopped former Vice-President, Atiku Abubakar, from being President.
Anenih, who has announced he is stepping out of politics, said this in his book titled ‘My Life and Nigerian Politics’, which was presented in Abuja on Saturday.

Awka prisons jail break plot exposed

Plans by unidentified persons to cause a jail break in Awka Prison in Anambra State, to aid the escape of certain inmates has been exposed.
Daily Trust on Sunday gathered that some persons residing within the prison neighbourhood were enveloped with fear following news about the alleged jail break plot and that some were making arrangements to relocate their families to safer zones.

We are conductors by day, robbers by night – Suspects

Two bus conductors, 22-year-old Lateef Sodiq and 21-year-old Tunde Lawal, have been nabbed by men of the Lagos State Command after robbing a  motorist of his Honda saloon car.
The duo are members of a car-snatching gang operating in Lagos.
According to the suspects, they “supplement” their work as bus conductors with robbery.
