BREAKING: Adeboye visits family of murdered Redeemed preacher

The General Overseer, the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Tuesday paid a condolence visit to the family of Mrs. Eunice Olawale, who was murdered while preaching in Kubwa, a satellite town in Abuja.

Final year UNILAG undergraduate dies in hostel

A 500-level undergraduate of the University of Lagos, Odusami Matthew, has died after slumping at the Biobaku Hostel.

PUNCH Metro learnt that Matthew, a student at the Estate Management Department, was playing football with some of his friends on Friday when he slumped.

Who is to be blame for delayed corruption cases, judiciary or EFCC?

The delay cannot be attributed to the judiciary. It is caused by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the defending lawyers.

With regards to EFCC, most times, they do not conclude their investigations. They only carry out investigations and convict suspects on the pages of newspapers. When they eventually take suspects to court, they do not have the evidence to prove their cases.

Actor and ex-husband of popular Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, Adeniyi Johnson has described reports that he is making moves to bring back his wife as a blatant lie.
He said that since the marriage broke up, he had not thought of going back, adding that it was Toyin who had been calling and pleading for reunion.

Parents tackle teacher for flogging pupil

A teacher of the Faith Academy, Gowon Estate, Lagos, has reportedly been charged to court after a pupil she flogged sustained serious injuries.

The tutor, identified simply as Mrs. Onakoya, reportedly flogged Michael Modupe, a JS3 pupil after a misdemeanour, leaving him with cane marks and serious injuries.
