Oil theft: EFCC closes case against 11 Indians, others
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has closed its case against the 11 Indians, three Ghanaians and two Nigerians being prosecuted at the Federal High Court in Calabar for illegal oil bunkering.

Global oil benchmark, Brent crude, on Thursday traded above $50 per barrel for the first time in 2016 as supply disruptions and increased global demand continue to fuel a recovery.
Brent, against which Nigeria’s oil is priced, hit $50.14 per barrel at 8:30am, data from Energy Intelligence showed.

‘Tomato Ebola’: Varsity to produce 800,000 tonnes of tomatoes
The management of the Benson Idahosa University, Edo State, on Wednesday said that it has concluded plans to produce 800,000 tonnes of tomatoes to cushion the effects the shortage of the fruit in the country.
