We cannot give excuses for fuel scarcity − Lai Mohammed

Nigerians did not elect us to give them excuses, Lai Mohammed the Federal Minister of Information has said.

The minister who spoke in Yola yesterday, while in Adamawa as part of the presidential entourage led by the Vice President Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, attending the wedding of the son of the Adamawa state Governor Sen. Mohammed Jibrilla Bindow also reiterated that the fuel crisis would soon be over.

Lagos to prosecute tax defaulters from April 1

The Lagos State Internal Revenue Service says it will commence the prosecution of tax evaders and offenders in the state from April 1, 2016.
The LIRS in a statement by its Executive Chairman, Mr. Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, on Wednesday said the move became necessary because a large number of Lagosians had not paid their taxes although the law stated that eligible tax payers must pay within 90 days of the New Year.
