California debuts ‘digital’ license plates. Here’s what they’ll cost you.

Califonia’s dramatic new license plate is hitting the streets — a digital display board that allows changeable messages controlled by the driver or remotely by fleet managers.
The new plates use the same computer technology as Kindle eBook readers, along with a wireless communication system.

Kenyan actress, Jacqueline Nyamide, popularly known as Wilbroda, has been left in shock after discovering that her househelp breastfed her son when he was eight months-old.
Speaking to a Kenyan Magazine, Wibroda said that the incident became known after she got an anonymous tip while on a trip to Mombasa.

The Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, has told the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, to steer clear of his boss.
Olayinka advised Shehu not to drag Governor Ayodele Fayose into President Muhammadu Buhari’s messy fight with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Lagos opens eight vehicle inspection centres

Determined to ensure that only road worth vehicles ply the state’s roads, Lagos State Governor Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today started the inauguration of eight computerized vehicle inspection centres spread across nooks and crannies of the state.
The exercise, which would be rounded up tomorrow would put an end to human-error prone testing in checking the health status of vehicles on the roads.

I was sacked for refusing to implicate Jonathan, Saraki, Ekweremadu, others – Uwajeh

SACKED Special Investigator to the Special Presidential Investigation Panel on Recovery of Public Property, Evang. Victor Uwajeh, has accused President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration of bias in its anti-corruption crusade.
Uwajeh claimed he was sacked less than two months after his appointment because the administration had a mindset about who should be prosecuted at all costs.

Trouble in the House of God: Buhari’s cash gift divides CAN

National Christian Elders Forum, NCEF, is accusing the leadership of the Christian of Nigeria (CAN) of corruption and abuse of office.
Specifically, the forum alleged that the leadership of the umbrella organisation for Christians in Nigeria collected N25 million or N40 million from the Presidency during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari, criticising the action and calling for sanction. It also alleged that the CAN leadership bought official vehicles at questionable prices.

Google will make its paid storage plans cheaper

Google is rolling out new changes to its storage plans that include a new, low-cost storage plan and half off the price of its 2TB storage option, the company announced today. It’s also converting all Google Drive paid storage plans to Google One, perhaps in part because you’ll now have one-tap access to Google’s live customer service.
